Howell Man Charged In Connection With PA Auto Shop Burglary: Cops
Authorities say Zachary Tyler Allmann of Howell attempted to take a vehicle after burglarizing a PA auto repair shop.
HOWELL, NJ - A Howell Township man was charged in connection with a November burglary in Middletown, P.A., according to authorities from the Middletown Township Police Department.
Zachary Tyler Allmann, 28, was charged last month with burglary, criminal trespassing, theft, receiving stolen property, attempted theft, and attempted receiving stolen property.
According to court documents, on Nov. 22, Allmann entered the Maaco Collision Repair and Auto in the 1800 block of West Lincoln Highway around 10:30 a.m. via a back window. The Howell man is accused of stealing six sets of programmable electronic car keys that belonged to six different vehicles. The value of the keys stolen was $3,055, police said.

Allman was reported missing just minutes away in Falls, P.A. days later. Authorities later confirmed that Allman had been located Nov. 23. Read more: Man Missing In Falls Twp., Police Seek Help
Allmann was arrested on Dec. 4 on a New Jersey warrant, police said. He admitted to burglarizing the auto shop and stealing the keys, according to a criminal complaint. He also admitted attempting to take a 2020 Chevrolet Malibu located inside the building.

Allmann was held at Bucks County Correctional Facility. His bail was posted Jan. 9, police said.
