Howell Man Dies In Early Morning Crash Friday

A Howell man died Friday after an early morning crash on Aldrich Road, police said.

David Pszczola, 51, was pronounced dead at the scene of a 6:37 a.m. collision on Aldrich Road near Pinewood Road,  according to a release from the Howell Police.

Pszczola was driving a 2001 Chevy Express van westerly on East Aldrich Road when his vehicle was hit in the passenger side door by a 2008 Honda Accord driven by Ada Borda-Urban, 60, also of Howell, police said.

Pszczola’s van flipped several times before coming to a stop in the driveway of 371 East Aldrich Road, police said.

Pszczola was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered a severe head injury. Two responding Howell Police officers gave Pszczola CPR, but he was pronounced dead at the scene about 7:15 a.m., police said.

Borda-Urban was taken to CentraState Medical Center by Ramtown First Aid with non-life-threatening injuries. He was treated and released, police said.

No one has been charged, police said.

The crash is under investigation by the traffic safety unit and the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office  Fatal Accident Investigation Unit. Any witnesses are asked to contact  Patrolman Scott Brooks at (732) 938-4111.
