HOWELL, NJ - A new Big Brother: All Stars winner has been crowned, and this time, the champion hails from Howell.

Cody Calafiore, 29, took home the title from the hit reality series last Wednesday, scoring a $500,000 cash prize during the season 22 finale.

Calafiore was born in Hackensack, going on to attend Monmouth University and Temple University to play soccer. Now a real estate agent representing Shrewsbury, the New Jerseyan was named a frontrunner in season 16 of the series.

During the Oct. 28 season finale, the Howell native served as one of three remaining contestants: Nicole Franzel, Enzo Palumbo and Calafiore.

In the end, Franzel was evicted, with Calafiore and Palumbo (a Bayonne native) going before the jury. The 29-year-old emerged from the show victorious, winning via the second unanimous jury vote in the show’s history. Palumbo also walked away with a $50,000 prize.

CBS has renewed the reality television series for a 23rd season slated to air next summer.
