[UPDATED] 1 Injured In Howell Domestic Dispute Stabbing: Cops

HOWELL, NJ - One individual has been hospitalized as the result of a stabbing in Howell on Sunday evening, authorities said.

The incident occurred at the Cornerstone apartment complex on West Farms Road, Howell police wrote in a Facebook post.

A 30-year-old male was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune after he sustained a non-life threatening injury to his leg during the dispute, police said. Anteirah Mitchell, 26, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

"This incident is considered closed. There will be no further information release. We remind the public charges are accusations," Howell police wrote. "A final determination of guilt will be handled within the judicial system."
