A week of snow and freezing cold temperatures has forced Howell Township to postpone a scheduled rabies clinic.
The event was planned for January 25 but has now been moved to February 1 in hopes of more agreeable weather for four-legged residents and their owners. As originally scheduled the clinic will be held at the Department of Public Works garage located at 278 Old Tavern Road.
Pets can be brought to the garage from 9 a.m. until noon. Owners are asked to bring proof of the last rabies vaccination and licenses will be issued. Payment by cash or check only. For more information call 732-938-4500 ext. 2241 or ext. 2152.
