Howell Restaurant Serves Meal, Companionship To Homeless On Thanksgiving
It is the fourth straight year of the free Thanksgiving meal buffet at the Colonial Coffee Shoppe.

HOWELL, NJ — For the fourth straight year, a local restaurant offered a hot meal and hospitality to local displaced residents on Thanksgiving morning.
The Colonial Coffee Shoppe, owned by Pete and Debbie Savvis and Ellen and Guy Delisio, closed its doors to the public on Thanksgiving morning and served up a free buffet to fill bellies and hearts with warmth.
Assisted by the Savvis's daughters, Danielle and Raquel and coordinated by retired Howell Police Sgt and Police Athletic League President Chris Hill and Pastor Steve Brigham, the displaced residents were served. PAL volunteers and Howell Police officers served food, waited tables and just provided company and conversation to the guests.
