Howell Road To Close April 19-21 For Repaving Work: See Where
Howell Road will be closed between Route 33 Business (Park Avenue) and Vanderveer Road next week due to construction.
HOWELL, NJ - Howell Road is scheduled to be closed next week due to construction, authorities said. The construction serves as part of a project repaving over a dozen municipal roadways in Howell Township this year.
From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on April 19-21, Howell Road road will be closed between Route 33 Business (Park Avenue) and Vanderveer Road for road work.
Traffic will be detoured to Fairfield Road and Bennett Road. Customers can access Landex Evergreen Nursery from the Park Avenue entrances for Fairfield Industrial Park, according to a municipal alert.

Here's the full list of roads to be repaved this year, courtesy of the Howell Township Land Use board:
- West Farms Road (State Highway Route 9 jughandle to east of Tyrpak Road)
- Howell Road (Vanderveer Road to Route 33 Business)
- Lanes Mill Road (Lanes Pond Road to Maxim Southard)
- Preventorium Road (Maxim Road to Old Tavern)
- Maxim Southard Road (Locust Avenue to Talcott Road)
- Hilltop Road
- Darien Road (Princeton Drive to Northgate Drive)
- Newport Drive
- Chestnut Hill Road
- Stockport Way
- Westbrook Road
- Westbrook Circle
- Beacon Drive
- Meadowbrook Drive
- Putnam Drive
A total of 13.36 lane miles are expected to be paved in 2021. The largest single repaving project on the schedule is the repaving of West Farms Road from State Highway Route 9 jughandle to east of Tyrpak Road.
