A Howell school will go remote for two days after a positive coronavirus test, school officials said.

HOWELL – A Howell school will go remote for two days after a positive coronavirus test, school officials said.
Principal Nancy Rupp and Superintendent Joseph Isola said the remote environment will be established on September 14th and Tuesday, September 15th for Griebling Elementary School only.
"This action will allow us to continue to partner with the Monmouth County Health Department as they work through their contact tracing to ensure a safe reopening for our students and staff," the officials said in a letter to parents.

The district said it has begun an extensive cleansing process. The district said it will notify people about possibly quarantining.
"Out of an abundance of caution, you are encouraged to observe your child for any signs and symptoms of COVID-19," officials said. "Please contact your child’s physician if any signs or symptoms are noted."
