Man ‘Severely’ Injured Following ATV Crash In Howell: Cops

HOWELL, NJ - A man who was “severely” injured following an ATV crash off West Farms Road was airlifted to a hospital after he was found in a densely wooded area, authorities said.

The male, who was not identified in a statement issued by the Howell Township Police Department, was riding a quad in the area before he crashed near Tyrpak Road.

The incident was reported around 7:30 p.m.

A medical helicopter transported the individual to Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

The male was conscious, had possible injuries to chest and back but did not display apparent head trauma, police said.
