Marine-Owned Eatery In Howell To Offer Memorial Weekend Discounts

HOWELL, NJ - This local smoothie shop is offering discounts to military personnel and their families, from one service member to another.

Ready, Set, Juice, owned by husband-and-wife team Johnny and Mangeli Rodriquez, will be offering a 15 percent discount on all juices and smoothies at Ready, Set Juice on Route 9 from May 29 to 31.

The Marine-owned shop, which opened April 30 in the Howell Plaza shopping center, features an extensive menu of natural juices, protein shots and smoothies as well as seasonal wraps and salad bowls.

“As a U.S Marine I can say that I am very lucky and fortunate to be here today writing this post. This Memorial weekend let's not make it about BBQ and BEER,” Johnny Rodriquez wrote in a social media post. “This Memorial weekend let us remember those who serve to protect our country and our freedom. ... We are forever grateful for the ultimate sacrifice of those who died for the Unites States of America. Their courage and dedication will never be forgotten.”

Ready, Set, Juice is open to the public Mondays through Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
