HOWELL, NJ - The five-member Howell Township Council is set to discuss these items at the upcoming June 15 meeting, according to municipal documents.

Here are the highlights on the agenda:

  • A proclamation designating June 2021 as Pride Month in Howell.
  • A resolution authorizing the execution of a Shared Services Agreement between the Township of Howell and Freehold Township regarding the Western Monmouth Active Shooter Training Group.
  • A resolution authorizing Howell’s entrance Into a shared services agreement for the position of Chief Financial Officer and Tax Collector with Shrewsbury Borough.
  • A public hearing for an ordinance to clarify front yard setbacks for townhomes and multifamily dwellings within the Moderate- and Low-Income Housing zone in Howell.
  • An ordinance set to be introduced aims to set forth the salary range schedule for certain employees of Howell via a shared services salary. A public hearing is set for July 13.
