Ramtown-Howell Fire's 'Operation Santa' Food Drive Returns
He's trading his sleigh in for a fire truck, but Santa will still ride through town on Dec. 19.
RAMTOWN, NJ — The coronavirus can't put a stop to Santa Claus himself, nor can it halt the power of a community when neighbors help neighbors.
Saint Nick will ride again this year alongside the Ramtown-Howell Fire Company in its second-annual "Operation Santa" food drive. But, instead of loading up his sleigh with toys, Santa will hop on a fire engine with members of the fire company to ride around town and collect food donations.
The food drive will begin at the Ramtown-Howell Fire Company at 10 a.m. on Dec. 19. From there, the holiday cohort will travel around town as Santa greets friends and neighbors.
