There are some definite disadvantages to having a snowy winter in our area, but one nice side to all the white stuff is the visual changes that occur throughout Howell.

At Howell Patch we like to see what things look like from the Manasquan Reservoir to Ramtown and everything in between. That’s why we started Seen in Howell Blog on the site. This is the place where you can post your pictures of snowy landscapes in the winter and sunny days in the spring and summer.

If your group is having an event you think your neighbors should see the results from, this is the place to post them. Whether it is the first day of school or the first day of Little League practice this can be a great place to show your Howell pride.

After a day of snow and rain on Tuesday we should get a break from the wet weather until at least Friday night according to the latest forecast. The National Weather Service is calling for a high of around 36 degrees on a sunny Wednesday before a 10 degree drop to a low near 26 at night. A leap to a high near 48 is expected for Thursday during the day.

Today is a big day in the history of the Garden State as New Jersey became the third state to ratify the constitution on this date in 1787 and The Nutcracker Suite premiered in St. Petersburg, Russia on this date in 1892.
