State Aid For Howell Public Schools Dips For 2020-21 Year: Report

This upcoming year, Howell Township schools will receive over $28.1 million from the state, down 9 percent from last year.

HOWELL, NJ — Gov. Phil Murphy released his revised state aid figures last week, leaving Howell public schools with about $2 million less than they had last year.

For the upcoming 2020-21 school year, Howell public schools will receive over $28.1 million from the state, down 9 percent from the roughly $30.9 million they received last year.

The grand total will include $903,761 in transportation aid, $517,479 in security aid and $3,740,074 in special education aid.
