Wegmans, Target: 4th Of July Grocery Store Hours In Monmouth Co.

MONMOUTH COUNTY — As plans for 4th of July celebrations ramp up, trips to the grocery stores in Monmouth County are already being made. Wegmans, Trader Joe’s and Livoti’s are among the places nearby that have stocked up for the holiday celebrating America’s independence.

But it’s almost inevitable that a supply of condiments, hot dogs, potato chips and other 4th of July classics will be forgotten on the day. Luckily for last-minute shoppers, the majority of grocery stores will still be open to help out.

Here are the grocery stores that will be open on the Fourth of July in the area, along with a couple that won’t.

Some grocery stores are still operating under face covering guidelines as the coronavirus pandemic continues into its second summer, so make sure to double-check with your neighborhood location before going into a store without a mask.

What’s Open:

ALDI: ALDI will be open but will have limited holiday hours until 4 p.m. for the day.

BJ’s: BJ’s will remain open, but check with your local store for possible adjusted hours.

Foodtown: The grocer will be open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on July 4.

Livoti’s: The Italian supermarket will be open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sam’s Club: Sam’s Club locations will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for Plus members, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for club members.

Stop & Shop: Stop & Shop will be open during regular hours.

Target: Target locations are open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on July 4.

Trader Joe’s: Stores will close early, at 5 p.m., on the 4th of July.

Wawa: Wawa stores will be open during regular local hours on Independence Day.

Walmart: Walmart stores will be open during regular local hours on Independence Day.

Wegmans: The store will be open regular hours on July 4 - that’s 7 a.m. to midnight.

Whole Foods: Whole Foods will close at 9 p.m. on July 4.

What’s Closed:

Costco: All Costco locations are closed on July 4.
