What's On Tap? Seven Sons Microbrewery Opens May 6 In Howell
The budding brewery is set to open its first brick-and-mortar location in Howell on May 6 from 4 to 9 p.m.
HOWELL, NJ - A shiny new microbrewery opens in the Shore area today, bringing kosher beer in tow.
Howell-based Seven Sons Brewery is set to open its first brick-and-mortar location at 2224 Route 9 on May 6 from 4 to 9 p.m., the first kosher brewery of its kind in Monmouth County. It’s in the same plaza as Seasons Coal Fire Bistro and Century 21.
“Seven Sons is a family-owned microbrewery that is passionate about crafting unique and flavorful beers using various brewing techniques,” reads a statement on the company’s website. “Our focus is to produce beers using the best and freshest ingredients available. As a local brewery, our goal is to promote the New Jersey craft brewing industry by encouraging visitors to come to the brewery to discover and learn about our craft beer.”

According to the Asbury Park Press, there will be four initial beers on tap at its debut: Below the Belt lager, the Cops and Robbers porter, Tomfoolery pale ale and Gone Fishin’ India pale ale.
Customers who bring a growler can get beer to-go; otherwise, beer will be on tap for pints and flights.

A grand opening event is scheduled to be announced in a few weeks, owner David Gelbwachs told APP.
