Winning Jersey Cash 5 Ticket Sold In Monmouth County
The ticketholder will be splitting a jackpot of nearly $300,000, lottery officials said.
Someone who bought a Jersey Cash 5 ticket in Farmingdale has nearly 150,000 reasons to be happy Thursday morning.
Two tickets, including one sold at Italian Delights & Spirits, 226 Adelphia Rd., will split the $298,674 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Wednesday, April 27 drawing, New Jersey Lottery Executive Director Carole Hedinger said.
Each ticket is worth $149,337. The other winning ticket was sold in Newark, Hedinger said.

The two winning tickets matched all five numbers drawn. The winning numbers were: 06, 09, 24, 36 and 40.
The retailers each will receive a $2,000 bonus check for selling the winning tickets.

Hedinger also noted that 3,128 other players won $87,805 in cash prizes in the Wednesday drawing. For correctly picking four numbers, 85 players won cash prizes of $496 each, and for correctly matching three numbers, 3,043 players won $15 each.
