4 Rumson-Fair Haven Regional HS Athletes Sign College Commits

RUMSON-FAIR HAVEN, NJ - Four Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School students and football players recently made their college decisions official by signing letters of intent to continue their athletic careers while pursuing higher education.

The four young men, all of whom have “played integral roles in the program’s success this and in past years,” will all be attending colleges and universities on the east coast during the upcoming school year, according to a news release from the school district.

The student-athletes and their families donned their new colors to celebrate their hard work on the field and in the classroom by signing college commits from their homes this year amid the ongoing pandemic.

Massachusetts will be the new home of RFH Bulldogs Ryan Ruane and James Smith, who will attend College of the Holy Cross in Worcester and Merrimack College in North Andover respectively.

Patrick Jamin will call Middlebury College in Vermont home, where he’ll demonstrate his talents in both the football and lacrosse teams. John Volker will similarly show off his abilities at Princeton University.

“These athletes will join countless others from RFH that have and are currently making a name for themselves in the NCAA,” the district news release reads.
