Fair Haven FD Looking For 2021 Fireman's Fair Volunteers

The annual tradition returns to the Fair Haven Firemen's Grounds from Aug. 27 through Sept. 4.

FAIR HAVEN, NJ — After a one-year hiatus, the Fair Haven Fire Department will be putting on its annual Firemen's Fair, and its looking for volunteers.

The fair will run from Aug. 27 through Sept. 4 at the Firemen's Grounds, and will feature lasting traditions of rides, game booths, Outback and 50/50 raffles. Volunteers are needed in the Outback or in a game booth.

Volunteers must be 16 years or older to work in the Outback, children younger than 16 are not allowed in the Outback as there are many hot surfaces and it is a food preparation area.

Volunteers must be 18 or older to work in a game booth. There will be no seafood dining room this year due to health concerns.

Interested volunteers can register online at the Fair Haven Fire Department's website.
