5 Things You Need to Know Today: February 8th

Good Morning, Rumson and Fair Haven. Here is a list of useful information and events happening around the boroughs today:

1. Parlez-vous francais? Or even if you don't speak French, you can still read subtitles! The RFH French Honors Society is presenting "French Movie Night" in the high school auditorium from 6:00-8:30 p.m. tonight. Refreshments will be sold to raise money for the group. 
   
2. Home for sale. Some signs indicate that the worst of the recent housing crisis just may be subsiding, and some local realtors say the market is showing . While one realtor has seen a rise in sales, another views the market as stable and sees the need for lowering her commission rate for some customers.
   
3. What's happening in Rumson? Head on over to the Rumson Council meeting  to find out. The meeting will start at 7:30 p.m. in the Borough Hall. 
4. School rules. Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School Board of Education Meeting is tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the high school library. If you are going, make sure you park in the back parking lot. 
5. Calling all Bulldog Fans. Head on over to Tinton Falls to see the wrestling Bulldogs take on the Monmouth Regional Falcons. The match is away on Falcon mats tonight starting at 6:00 p.m.
