Here is a list of 5 things you need to know today:
1. Mild Winter Day: According to the National Weather Service, today will be a mild winter day. It is expected to be mostly sunny with a high near 45 degrees and a west wind between 11 and 15 mph. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a low around 33 degrees and a northwest wind between 6 and 8 mph.
2. Officer of the Year: Officer Christian Hostrup was named Fair Haven's Officer of the Year. Hostrup was honored at the Borough of Fair Haven on Monday, January 23. 3. Another Bridge Closed: If you are heading to Wednesday night for dinner or drinks, you'll need to be on a curfew. According to a press release from Monmouth County, the Sea Bright Bridge (S-32) between Rumson Road (CR 520) in Rumson and Ocean Avenue in Sea Bright,will be closed on Wednesday, January 25 starting at 10:00 p.m. The bridge will be closed for approximately four hours for routine safety inspections.
