An area resident has been indicted on a heroin possession charge stemming from an Asbury Park arrest last year.
Jezreel J. Lagason, 25, of 12 Wakefield Court, Shrewsbury, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, heroin, on Aug. 29, 2013 in the city, the indictment, signed by Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher Gramiccioni, says.
According to Shrewsbury Police records, prior to the Asbury charge and arrest on which the indictment is based, Lagason was also arrested on Aug. 28, the day before, on a possession of CDS charge. There is no record of indictment on that charge.
