Three day Israeli art exhibition and sale at Congregation B'nai Israel in Rumson begins Saturday, November 8, 2014

Beginning on Saturday evening, November 8, 2014 and running for three days, Congregation B’nai Israel (CBI) in Rumson will be hosting an art exhibition and sale to support Israeli artists and the State of Israel. The exhibition will feature artwork made by artists living and working in Israel and will include paintings, sculptures, jewelry and judaica items. Tara Siers, of the CBI organizing committee, invites everyone to attend the opening preview cocktail party and auction on Saturday evening from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm. “In addition to the original art work, we will have live music, auction items, beverages and hors d’voeurs” explains Siers. “We’re hoping that everyone will come to show their support for Israel.” Admission is free but an RSVP is requested.

The exhibition continues on Sunday, November 9 from 10 am to 8 pm and on Monday, November 10 from 10 am to 6 pm. Both days will feature the artwork and a Judaica café with light noshes. The Israeli artists in the exhibition include but are not limited to Ruth Bloch, Nurit Shany, Nissim Ben Aderet.
