Christmas At Fort Hancock In Sandy Hook Dec. 17
Visit Fort Hancock in Sandy Hook this Sunday, Dec. 17 to experience Christmas as the officers and soldiers would have during World War II.
HIGHLANDS, NJ — Visitors of all ages are invited to celebrate Christmas at Fort Hancock in Sandy Hook Gateway National Recreation Area this Saturday and Sunday, December 16 and 17. On Saturday, December 16, members of the Army Ground Forces will bring the "Christmas of 1943" back to life. Saturday's event starts at 12 noon.
Visit the History House at Fort Hancock on Sunday, December 17 to experience Christmas as the officers and soldiers would have during World War II. Santa will be here from 1-3:30 p.m. There will also be a trio of carolers from 2:30 to 4:15 p.m. Refreshments will be provided.
Fort Hancock is located within the grounds of Sandy Hook park.
