Ella D. Gaynor Of Rumson Dies At 87
No services planned for former owner of Rumson Beauty Salon.

Ella D. Gaynor, 87, of Rumson, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, May 4, 2015.
She was born in Oakhurst and lived most of her life in Rumson. While in high school, Ella worked for her mom, Dorothy, who owned the Sugar Bowl, a soda pop shop in Rumson. She earned an associates degree and was one of the owners of the Rumson Beauty Salon. Ella was a member of the “Carton Town Gang”. She loved boating and bowling.
Ella was predeceased by her parents, Roderick and Dorothy (Gebien) Dangler; her husband, William H. Gaynor Jr. in 2003 and her son, William H. Gaynor III in 2015. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Cuje and her husband Doug of Rumson; her son, Robert W. Gaynor of Rumson; her sister, Joan Shea of Tinton Falls; her daughter-in-law, Rosemary Gaynor; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Following Ella’s wishes there will be no services. The Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St., Red Bank, is entrusted with the arrangements.
