Irwin Bowl and Mayor's Cup Regatta - TWO Cup Regatta
June 30th 9am
on the Navesink River between the two bridges in Red Bank and Rumson, NJ.
Format
There will be three fleets racing. There will be a “bridge” race open to all sailboats and will use the Portsmouth Handicap system. The bridge race will consist of a Cruising fleet and a One-Design Fleet. The race will be held between the Oceanic Bridge and Lewis Point. A fleet for junior sailors using Optimist prams & 420s will sail a series of short races on courses off the SRYC anchorage. Participants can use the town launch ramp and docks at SRYC and FHSC. Overnight mooring will be available at SRYC and FHSC.
Awards
Awards will be provided to the First Place Finishers in all fleets.
The Mayor’s Cup will be awarded to the First Place Finishers in the Cruising and One-Design Fleets based on corrected time using the Portsmouth Handicap.
The NJYRA Mallory Cup which is the Senior Men’s Championship will be awarded to a NJYRA member in either fleet with the best corrected time using the Portsmouth Handicap.
Gold, Silver and Bronze awards will be provided to Optimist sailors.

Optimists & 420s: All participants must be age 17 or under as of June 30, 2018.
Schedule
Date: June 30, 2018
Registration: Online or beginning at 0900 on June 30th at SRYC & FHSC.
Start: 1000 for the first fleet.
Participants are invited to SRYC for awards and a post race BBQ ($10 for adults).
Registration
Completed registration forms & fees must be returned to SRYC by June 27, 2018. Late registrations will be accepted on June 30 at SRYC or FHSC. Participants are urged to register early so that proper planning can be done. Completed registrations can also be mailed to SRYC, PO Box 85, Fair Haven, NJ, 07704. Entry Fee: $40 per boat payable to “SRYC” for Mayor’s Cup; $45 for Mayor’s Cup AND Mallory Cup (if eligible). $40 for Opti and 420 Fleets Sailors.
