Register Your Child For Sandy Hook Summer Coast Camp

The American Littoral Society offers two summer day camp sessions on Sandy Hook and one on Long Beach Island in summer 2019.

ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ — It's that time of year when we start thinking about summer camp options for kids!

The American Littoral Society offers two summer camp sessions on Sandy Hook and one on Long Beach Island in summer 2019. These are summer day camps where kids will learn about the marine ecology of the area, fishing, crabbing, field journaling and coastal botany.

Long Beach Island, NJ
July 22-26, (Grades 5-8)
Sandy Hook, NJ
July 8-12, (Grades 3-5)
August 5-9, (Grades 6-8)

Join the Littoral Society for a week of education fun that includes seining, marine life identification, fishing, crabbing, birding, shelling, field journaling, plankton discovery, coastal botany, and understanding nature through art.

The Barnegat Bay Coast Camp is for students entering grades 5, 6, 7, and 8. The Sandy Hook Coast Camp will have two sessions, the first (from July 8-12) for students entering grades 3, 4 and 5; the second (from August 5-9) for students entering grades entering grades 6, 7 and 8. The cost per week is $275 for Littoral Society members and $300 for non-members, which includes all materials, supplies, and snacks.
