The borough's 'Green Day' will return next month. Here's where to recycle your old laptops, televisions, cameras, documents and more:
RUMSON, NJ - The borough of Rumson will be hosting a ‘Green Day’ recycling event next month where residents will be able to safely recycle documents, electronics and more.
On May 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Rumson Department of Public Works building (80 E River Rd.), individuals may dispose of scanners, printers and computers as well as shred confidential papers (see the full list of accepted items below).
Residents are asked to place all items for recycling in the trunks of their cars prior to arrival. Individuals should remain inside vehicles at all times and follow the traffic signs.
Upon arrival, members of the municipal Department of Public Works team will open vehicle trunks and remove any accepted items.
