What's Going On This Summer at Small Factory Productions

It's a busy summer at Small Factory Productions in Fair Haven and Manalapan! Here's a look at what's going on:

Junior Jeweler Design Contest!

Small Factory Productions and Jewelry Design Gallery of Manalapan are looking for creative students to submit original jewelry designs for a pendant! Ten submissions will be chosen and finalists will get to create their piece at Small Factory using 3D technology. Once pieces are printed, a final contest winner will be chosen to turn their design into a real piece courtesy of Jewelry Design Gallery. The contest entry deadline is July 31. 3D printing workshop will be August 30 from 4-5:30 p.m. All submissions can be sent via email to smallfactory@mysmallfactory.com. Please include name, age, parent/guardian name, phone number and email.

Summer SiLAS Social Skills Groups - 8 Week Summer Program

This summer group is a cooperative effort between Small Factory and Speech Start. This group is appropriate for all tech-loving children who have difficulty finding, making and remaining friends with peers. This group is great for children who have a known diagnosis or may just need a little social guidance. Minecraft, computer games and SiLAS (Socially Interactive Learning Software) are used to foster social interaction. For more information on SiLAS, visit www.silassolutions.com. The group begins the week of July 4 and ends the week of August 22. Monday classes will end August 29 due to July 4 holiday. Hazlet classes will take place at Speech Start, 1 Bethany Road, Suite 60, Building 5, Fair Haven classes will be held at the Fair Haven Small Factory studio and Manalapan classes will be held in the Manalapan studio (addresses below).

Monday - Hazlet (ages 2-4): 10 - 11:30 a.m.
Monday - Hazlet (ages 5-8): 4:30 - 6 p.m.
Monday - Fair Haven (ages 9-12): 6-7:15 p.m.
Tuesday - Princeton Research Study Closed Group
Wednesday - Princeton Research Study Closed Group
Thursday - Manalapan (ages 9-12): 5-6:30 p.m.
Thursday - Manalapan (ages 13-17): 6:45 - 8:15 p.m.

The program cost is$350. Anyone who signed up for the Princeton Study and was not accepted will be charged the original price. Insurance will not be accepted, and a half hour conference with the instructor is included at the sessions conclusion. All payments are due at the end of the first class.
