Long Branch Woman Kicked Open Door, Assaulted Red Bank Pair, Police Say

A Long Branch woman is accused of kicking open a door to a residence and assaulting two people inside.
Chrissandra D. Lester, 26, allegedly burst into the Locust Avenue apartment on Sunday at 1:18 a.m., causing over $500 in damage to the door and the doorframe. Police say she punched the two occupants in the face with a closed fist.
She was remanded to Monmouth County Correctional Institution on $55,000 bail with no option to post 10 percent of the bond.
