24-Year-Old Killed In Drive-By Shooting In Cleveland
The man was standing outside of a home on E. 99th Street when someone opened fire from a car.
CLEVELAND — A 24-year-old was shot to death outside of a home on E. 99th Street in Cleveland on Friday.
The shooting happened at 3:20 p.m. When police arrived at the home, EMS was helping the 24-year-old before taking him to University Hospitals, where he would later be pronounced dead.
Investigators believe the 24-year-old was outside a house on E. 99th Street when a car drove by and someone inside the vehicle fired at the man. The 24-year-old pulled out his own gun and returned fire before the car drove away.

The 24-year-old was shot multiple times in the body, police said.
While police were investigating the shooting, a man went to St. Vincent Charity Hospital because he had been shot in the hand. Police believe the man was involved in the shooting of the 24-year-old and had been wounded when the victim returned fire.
