  1. Higher temperatures are on the way this weekend. The Cleveland area will experience gradual warming over the weekend after tonight's (Feb. 3) temperature of 12 degrees. Saturday is expected to hit 32 degrees with partly cloudy skies, and Sunday will likely reach 42 degrees with the sun still trying to peak out behind clouds. In other good news, Cleveland will see two more minutes of daylight today! (Subscription: cleveland.com)
  2. Cleveland police are searching for a missing 32-year-old woman who was last seen around 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cecilia Kimmel, a transgender woman, was last seen at Rising Star Coffee on West 29th Street. A friend told police she may be a danger to herself. Kimmel is 6'2", 170 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes, and was last seen wearing a pink jacket and blue jeans. (Cleveland 19 News)
  3. Sean Simpkins, 40, and David McCord, 44, have pleaded guilty to human trafficking charges in Cleveland. The men appeared at the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas on Wednesday for the April 2022 incident at a Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority station. According to the prosecutor, the pair assaulted and kidnapped a 22-year-old woman on W. 98th Street. The men pleaded guilty to a slew of charges and will be sentenced on Feb. 28. (Cleveland 19 News)
