53-Year-Old Killed Near Cleveland Bus Stop

The man was shot to death in broad daylight on Saturday, police said.

CLEVELAND — A 53-year-old man was shot to death on Saturday afternoon in Cleveland, police announced.

The man was found at 2:30 p.m. near E. 125th Street and Superior Avenue. He had been shot multiple times, police said. EMS took the man to University Hospitals, where he was later pronounced dead.

Investigators believe the 53-year-old was arguing with a woman at a bus stop when someone walked up to him, shot him multiple times and then ran away. The shooter has not yet been identified, police said.

Members of the Cleveland police homicide unit took over the investigation. Their investigation is ongoing.
