Baker Mayfield To Host 5K Benefit For Boys & Girls Clubs
The Cleveland Browns quarterback is the ambassador for the race benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio.

CLEVELAND — Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield will host the June 26 Race for Kids.
The event is a 5k run and 1-mile walk benefiting Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio. This year's race will be held at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, though there is a virtual race option for runners and walkers who cannot attend the in-person event.
Entry fees for participants start at $20 and include all-day zoo admission and a special race T-shirt. In-person race spots will be limited, a Boys & Girls Club official said.

Registration for the event opened this week. Participants can sign-up on the Boys & Girls Clubs website. Anyone who registers prior to May 31 will be entered into a drawing for a signed Mayfield jersey.

Mayfield was the Browns No. 1 pick in 2018. He led Cleveland to its first playoff victory since 1994 last season.
