Bicyclist Shot, Killed In Cleveland
A 26-year-old bicyclist was killed while riding on Cleveland's east side.
CLEVELAND — A 26-year-old man was shot to death on Cleveland's east side on Monday, police announced.
At approximately 6 p.m., police were called to Dolloff Road on the city's east side. When officers arrived, firefighters were already giving the 26-year-old medical care and waiting for EMS to arrive.
The 26-year-old was then taken to MetroHealth Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The Cleveland police homicide unit took over the investigation. Their preliminary investigation suggests the 26-year-old was riding a bicycle down Dolloff when he was confronted by another man.
The two men argued until the suspect shot and killed the 26-year-old, police said.

Investigators have identified a person of interest in the shooting, but the killing remains under investigation, police said.
