Boy Shot After Getting Off A Bus On Lee Road In Cleveland
A 15-year-old boy was shot in the back while walking to a friend's house on the East Side near Lee Road.

CLEVELAND, OH -- A boy was wounded Nov. 21 after he got off a bus and was walking to his grandmother's house. The boy told Cleveland Police that at 4:30 p.m. he got off the bus at Lee Road and Sorrento Avenue in the Lee-Harvard neighborhood. He said he started walking westbound on Sorrento and then heard five-to-six gunshots for an unknown direction.
He then felt a sharp pain in his back, and fearing he was shot, he ran to a friend's house nearby. His friend's mother is a nurse, and she gave him immediate medical attention. She then drove him to South Pointe Hospital's ER where his condition was stabilized.
The boy was then taken by Metro Lifeflight to MetroHealth Medical Center for treatment for a single gunshot wound in the middle of his back.
