City Hall Gets After-Hours Visit From The FBI, IRS And HUD
No word yet from the city on why the FBI, IRS and HUD came to City Hall to conduct "official business" after business hours Dec. 6.

CLEVELAND, OH – Federal agents from the FBI, IRS and the Department of Housing and Urban Development came to City Hall after business hours Dec. 6, according to cleveland.com. The agents were there on "law enforcement activity."
"Last evening, FBI, IRS, and HUD investigators were present in Cleveland City Hall after business hours for authorized law enforcement activity," Vicki Anderson, spokeswoman for the Cleveland FBI office, said in a statement. "Additional information cannot be provided at this time as this matter is under seal by federal court."
Dan Williams, director of media relations for the Mayor's Office, issued the following statement: "It is an ongoing investigation by federal agencies. While we do not discuss ongoing investigations, we will fully cooperate."
