Cleveland District Headquarters Promotes New Staff Lieutenant
Lieutenant Chad W. Enderby was promoted to the rank of staff lieutenant, during a ceremony at the Patrol's Academy.
From Ohio State Highway Patrol: Lieutenant Chad W. Enderby was promoted to the rank of staff lieutenant today by Colonel Paul A. Pride, Patrol superintendent, during a ceremony at the Patrol’s Academy. Staff Lieutenant Enderby will transfer from his current assignment at the Bucyrus District Commercial Enforcement Unit to serve as an assistant commander of the Cleveland District.
Staff Lieutenant Enderby began his Patrol career in February 1992 as a cadet dispatcher assigned to the Norwalk Post. He began his training as a member of the 125th Academy Class in May 1993. He earned his commission in November of that year and was assigned to the Mansfield Post. He earned the prestigious Superintendent’s Citation of Merit Award in 1994. In 2000, he transferred to the Bucyrus District Headquarters. In 2001, he was promoted to the rank of sergeant and transferred to the Marion Post to serve as an assistant post commander. Later that year, he transferred to the Bucyrus Post. In 2003, he transferred to the Ashland Post. In 2006, he was promoted to the rank of lieutenant and transferred to the Wooster Post to serve as post commander. In 2012, he transferred to the Mansfield Post. In 2015, he transferred to his most recent assignment at the Bucyrus District Commercial Enforcement Unit.
He completed training at Northwestern University’s School of Police Staff and Command in 2007.
