Cleveland Hospitals, Sports Teams Take Part In TV Vaccine Special
The Cleveland Browns, Indians and Cavaliers will participate in a one-hour TV special on March 23.

CLEVELAND — Several prominent Ohio hospitals, TV stations and sports teams are coming together to produce a one-hour special educating Ohioans about the COVID-19 vaccine.
"The Cleveland Comeback: Facts about the VAX Live" will air March 23 at 9 p.m. on CBS 19 (WOIO). The special will feature experts from MetroHealth, the Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals, as well as appearance from members of the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Indians.
The special will also be available via 19 News' streaming channels on Roku, Amazon Fire and Apple TV. The program will also be simulcast in the Toledo area on 13 ABC WTVG.

During the special, health experts will answer questions about the COVID-19 vaccine while representatives from the three sports teams will discuss their personal experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Ohio Department of Health will be available during the special to check eligibility and schedule vaccine appointments for callers. Audience members can visit vaxchat.ohio.gov to chat with the ODH Vaccine Support Virtual Assistant or call 1-833-427-5634.
