Man Suspected Of Robbing Cleveland Bank Arrested
Cleveland Police have arrested the man they say robbed the Key Bank on W. 25th Street in Ohio City on Friday.
CLEVELAND, OH -- Cleveland Police have arrested Shawn Benedict in connection with a robbery of the Ohio City Key Bank branch Friday afternoon.
At approximately 2:13 p.m. Friday, police say Benedict walked into the bank, located at 2047 W. 25th Street and handed a teller a note stating “give me your 20s, 50s and 100s and no one will get hurt.” Benedict also said, “No GPS or dye,” police reported.
Police reported that he fled the bank on foot and was arrested later Friday.
