Jobs are available to people 16 and older. Most positions offer a 40-hour workweek, with employment starting in spring and continuing through mid-October. There are also some full-time positions available, including roles at park reservations, golf courses, restaurants and the park system police department.
Last year, the Cleveland Metroparks seasonal hiring program was hampered by COVID-19. Many of the park system's most-popular amenities, including Merwin's Wharf and the zoo, were briefly shut down due to health orders.
