Cleveland Police Department Looks to Hire Officers

Recruiting events will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

CLEVELAND, OH — The City of Cleveland will work to hire additional police officers at three recruiting events throughout the weekend.

In a news release, the city’s police department said its recruiting events will include an orientation period in which recruiters will discuss the application process with prospective officers.

To qualify, applicants must undergo testing, complete a personal history statement and pass a physical agility test, according to the release.

The first hiring event will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Friday ash the Cleveland Police 2nd District, located at 3481 Fulton Road.

Another hiring event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. The hiring event will be held at the police department’s 3rd district at 4501 Chester Avenue.

Lastly, a recruiting event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday at the police department’s 1st district. The district is located at 3895 W. 130th Street.
