COLUMBUS, OH — All of Ohio's key COVID-19 numbers fell on Monday, according to data from the Ohio Department of Health.

In the past 24 hours, 1,149 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed among Ohioans. That's down versus the state's average of 1,665 new cases per day. It's also the fewest cases confirmed on a weekday since February.

Hospital admissions related to COVID-19 were also down on Monday, with fewer than 100 Ohioans seeking coronavirus treatment in the past 24 hours. Ohio is currently averaging 102 COVID-19-related hospital admissions per day.

At least 939,268 Ohioans have contracted COVID-19 and recovered, the Ohio Department of Health said.

More than 20 percent of Ohioans have received at least the first part of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the state health department. Nearly 12 percent of Ohioans have received both COVID-19 vaccine shots.

As of Monday afternoon, 2.64 million Ohioans had received at least the first shot of the two-part COVID-19 vaccine; and 1.37 million Ohioans have completed the vaccination process.

To facilitate vaccine distribution, Ohio has launched its first statewide vaccine registration tool, which can be accessed online.
