Downtown Cleveland Street Closures Begin This Week
Parts of W. 2nd and W. 3rd will be closed to traffic this week.
CLEVELAND — Closures at W. 2nd and W. 3rd streets will begin Tuesday, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced.
W. 2nd Street, between Huron Road and Prospect Avenue, will be closed to northbound traffic. The closure will remain place for one week.
W. 3rd, between Huron and Prospect, will have various closures between July 20 and July 22, ODOT said. Paving will be happening at intersections, leading to the closures.

The closures at W. 2nd and W. 3rd are part of the West Huron Road (Tower City) bridge maintenance project. Crews have been resurfacing and sealing the bridge deck, replacing sidewalk and replacing bridge joints.
The whole project is expected to be completed this fall, ODOT said.
