Four Cleveland Recreation Centers To Stay Open As Warming Centers
With extreme cold forecast for the next 48 hours, the City of Cleveland will keep the warming centers open around the clock.

CLEVELAND, OH -- The City of Cleveland will keep the four recreation centers open for shelter into the New Year. Zelma Watson George Recreation Center, Michael Zone Recreation Center, Collinwood Recreation Center and Lonnie Burten Recreation will remain open for the next 48 hours, according to a press release from the City of Cleveland. Temperatures will be in the teens, with wind chills dipping below zero, so bundle up for the frigid conditions when venturing out today and tomorrow.
