Grammy Winners To Headline Cleveland's 1st Juneteenth Celebration
The inaugural Freedom Fest will feature Grammy Award winners, fireworks, food trucks, and more.
CLEVELAND — Cleveland's first Juneteenth Freedom Fest will feature Grammy Award-winning performers and a fireworks finale.
The family-friendly event will be held from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. on June 19 on Mall C, 300 Lakeside Avenue E, in the heart of downtown Cleveland. Headline performances include Terri Lyne Carrington + Social Science and Lisa Fischer, and Mumu Fresh.
There will also be a mainstage performance of "Freedom on Juneteenth: Songs of Liberation" by Karamu House, the nation's oldest Black theatre. The evening will conclude with a fireworks finale made possible by CL3 Alliance, and the Cleveland Cavaliers, Indians and Browns.

Other festivities include a vendor village spotlighting Black businesses and entrepreneurs, community programming and education, and spoken-word performances, interactive art demonstrations, food trucks and beverage concessions.
