Heights Schools Employee Tests Positive For Coronavirus
A trades crew worker tested positive for COVID-19 last week, the district announced.
CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — A trades crew member for the Heights Schools tested positive for COVID-19 last week, the district announced.
The employee tested positive for the virus on July 30. The Cuyahoga County Health Department informed the district of the positive test.
Health officials are tracing the employee's test and contact anyone who may have been exposed to COVID-19, the district said.

"The area in which the employee worked was carefully disinfected. The employee is currently resting and self-quarantining at home," Superintendent Elizabeth Kirby said in a letter to families this week.
The Heights Schools will begin the academic year with remote-only education.
