Hollywood Vampires Ohio Show Still On, Joe Perry Will Return Soon

Alice Cooper confirmed that Hollywood Vampires will play the rest of their scheduled shows.

Alice Cooper confirmed on Twitter that rock supergroup Hollywood Vampires will perform in Kettering, Ohio, Tuesday night at the Fraze Pavillion as scheduled. During the Vampires' last concert Sunday night at the Ford Amphitheater in Coney Island, New York, guitarist Joe Perry was taken to Coney Island Hospital after staggering off stage during the show. The band's publicist released a statement saying that Perry will rejoin Hollywood Vampires on stage "soon," USA Today reports.

Cooper also confirmed that the rest of Hollywood Vampires' tour dates will continue as scheduled.

Perry is a founding member of Aerosmith, who were inducted into Cleveland's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001. The band has sold more than 150 million records since forming in 1970.

Hollywood Vampires has been touring in support of their 2015 self-titled debut album. They played shows in Europe in May and June and have nine more shows scheduled throughout July as they make their way across the U.S. heading to California.
