Human Remains Discovered Near West Side Home In Cleveland

Detectives are investigating a connection to a homicide in July.

CLEVELAND, OH—Human arms, legs and a partial skull were discovered at a vacant home on the city’s west side, according to media reports. The home was next to where a grisly homicide took place, when a man was shot in the head and dismembered, in July.

Police are investigating and suspect that the body parts may belong to Daniel Sloane, who was killed at a home in the 12800-block of Longmead Avenue. Police said Sloane’s remains were found in Lorain, but never found legs, arms or head, according to reports.

On Wednesday, a man doing yard work near the abandoned home found the remains in bags, according to a Cleveland.com article. Cleveland homicide detectives are investigating.
