Human Skeletal Remains Discovered At Cleveland Construction Site
Construction workers made the discovery of a human skull and other remains on E. 79th Street south of Hough.

CLEVELAND, OH -- Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office investigators confirmed that the skull and other skeletal remains found at a demolition site on E. 79th Street Dec. 7 are human, according to cleveland.com. The apartment building that is being demolished is just south of Hough Avenue. A crew member first noticed the skull in the building's boiler room.
Later, when investigators from the Medical Examiner's Office arrived, more skeletal remains in the form of vertebrae were recovered. Neighbors told police that the building had stood abandoned since the '90s, but that the owner would show up from time to time to do repair work.
